Overview

SoundDojo is designed with your privacy in mind. We process your MIDI input and practice data locally on your iPad. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to external servers.

Data We Collect

SoundDojo collects and processes the following data, all of which stays on your device:

• MIDI input from your connected keyboard or digital piano
• Practice session results (scores, timestamps, exercise type)
• Progress data (key mastery, learning path advancement, streaks)
• Imported MusicXML files for the Song Learner feature

Data We Do Not Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
• Location data
• Audio recordings of your playing
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking

Third-Party Services

SoundDojo does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Data Storage & Security

All practice data is stored locally on your iPad using standard iOS storage mechanisms. If you use iCloud backup, your SoundDojo data may be included in your device backup according to your Apple iCloud settings.

Children's Privacy

SoundDojo does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since all data is processed and stored locally on-device, no personal information is transmitted to us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
