Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SoundDojo (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any iPad you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

Some features of SoundDojo may require a subscription or one-time purchase. All transactions are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are displayed at the time of purchase. You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

4. User Content

You may import MusicXML files into SoundDojo for personal practice use. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you import. SoundDojo does not claim ownership of your imported files or practice data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; redistribute or sublicense the App; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to circumvent any access restrictions or security measures.

6. Intellectual Property

SoundDojo, including its design, code, content, exercises, learning paths, and scoring algorithms, is the intellectual property of SoundDojo. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoundDojo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
